Happy Wednesday! I had wanted to get this post to you yesterday, but I decided to take a very much needed day off & properly celebrate Halloween with Bryan. So here I am now! :)
One of my absolute favorite parts about owning a little shop is getting to package my orders like little gifts for friends. It's actually really fun and I try to make each package different from each other, at least a little. That way 1. it stays super fun for me, 2. if you order from me more than once, you can look forward to cute new packaging stuff each time! I also really like tossing in an extra print or something so they can keep that for themselves or give to a loved one. I just really like the thought of just that little extra add on making someone happy :)
I also, when printing out my stickers, etc. sometimes forget to switch papers in the printer hah >.< meaning, I get some really cute stickers like this I Want To Believe one, which were meant to be vinyl stickers for sale, but now make cute additions to my packaging. It's something that keeps my shop a little more green (less waste and throwing things away!) and also, again makes each package a little more fun.
And speaking of putting the paper wrong in the printer, sometimes, when you print on the wrong side, you get to make these silly "Smear Art" pieces with your prints ;) When I posted the process of that on my IG stories, it got quite a kick out of a lot of different people, myself included. So I'm keeping him, and going pin him somewhere where little kitty paws can't get on the (still wet) ink and leave little tracks all over my table. (true story, this has now happened hah)
Anddddd this brings me right up to the little trouble-maker himself: Napoleon, the cat. He's a terrible shop assistant and keeps trying to see all the packages I'm sending out to you guys. Thankfully, in this Derpy-pic, no orders had been placed in the box yet ;)
Anyway, I really enjoy owning a shop and I love my "shop days" so much! Thank you for your support which I means get to do what I love!
Have something else you'd like to see from me? Let me know!
